Fusion of Cultures is our love letter to Stockport’s diverse communities — a celebration of heritage, identity and the power of coming together. This programme creates warm, joyful spaces where families who often feel unseen can finally feel at home. Through storytelling, art, music, food and shared experiences, we honour the journeys that brought so many of us here and the strength that carries us forward. Each event is a moment of connection, healing and pride, building confidence and belonging. Fusion of Cultures is our commitment to ensuring every resident feels valued, included and part of Stockport’s future.Thank you to Stockport Economic Development and Regeneration fund Make a DIfference GM charity in partnership with local people and organisations are proud to be delivering the first ever South Asian heritage project for residents and professionals.

Make a Difference GM is a community-focused initiative founded by Nadia Ali, dedicated to empowering individuals and fostering positive change across Greater Manchester.
Our mission is to support vulnerable communities through inclusive programs and resources, addressing challenges such as social isolation, poverty, and people with limited access to opportunities. We work closely with local organisations, volunteers, and community members to provide essential services such as educational workshops, and wellbeing support.
At Make a Difference GM, we believe in the strength of community-driven action to create lasting impacts and uplift those in need, building a more compassionate and resilient Greater Manchester for all.
